Queries related to Income Tax Refund
Any queries related to the Income Tax refunds should be addressed to the Aayakar Sampark Kendra, 0124-2438000 or email at refunds@incometaxindia.gov.in.
As for the returns filed from Centralized processing Centre (CPC), Bangalore, CPC should only be contacted.
All the refund procedures are carried out through SBI bank. Form 26AS shows only the refunds by Income tax Department, however does not show the status of refund. For status one has to contact Aaykar Sampark Kendra. In case there is any problem in form 26AS and if any rectifications need to be made SBI will take have to be contacted at the following:
