Final opportunity has been given to the Income tax Assessee's whose returns are pending for processing and issuance of refund is also pending due to non-filing of ITR-V acknowledgment to CPC Bengaluru. The opportunity has been given for 6 Financial Years i.e. FY 2008-09 to FY 2013-14.
Assessee's can now also e-verify (EVC) those returns using their Aadhar number or net banking facility. They may also send the hard copy of the ITR-V to the the CPC Bangaluru address within 31st August, 2016.
CBDT has also declared that those previous year's pending ITR's if verified now within 31st August will be processed by them latest by 30th November, 2016. And the refunds if any will be issued to the assessee's along with interest.
